A new Post & Go design, The Crest of Jersey, will be launched by Jersey Post on 17 February. The release coincides with the first day of the annual Spring Stampex exhibition in London, where the stamps will be available to vend from Jersey Post’s JE01 Post & Go kiosk.

“This is our first new Post & Go design since the launch of Jersey Protected Species at last year’s Spring Stampex,” comments Melanie Gouzinis, Head of Philatelic at Jersey Post. “The stamps depict the Crest of Jersey in a contemporary colour palette and, if you look closely, you will see the names of all twelve island parishes printed in the background waves. The stamps will also be available from Jersey Post’s JE02 kiosk located at Jersey’s main Broad Street post office in St Helier and from our ‘B series’ back office kiosk ‘B002’.”

 Jersey Post & Go kiosks will continue to vend the original Jersey flag stamps alongside The Crest of Jersey. For the duration of Spring Stampex, Jersey flag stamps vended from Jersey’s JE01 kiosk will feature a special overprint: 500 Years of Postal History, in celebration of Royal Mail’s 500 year anniversary. The overprint will also be available on back office Collectors’ Strips from Jersey’s B002 kiosk.

This year, Spring Stampex will take place from 17-20 February at the Business Design Centre in London.
